The book is easy to read for students and a quick reference for medical physicists. The background mentioned in the first few chapters is clear and brief. Probably best to save your pennies and borrow it from the library. I was inspired to create this website by the Radiation Oncology Blog. In general, it is a little disappointing that such a recent publication is not more focused on new developments in radiotherapy and their implications for the physicists' workload.
